May 8 May 15 May 22 Join a 3-Week Painting Journey: Master the Art of Oil Painting! Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on oil painting series is designed to guide you through the fundamentals and beyond. With a focus on embracing a “beginner’s mindset”, you’ll learn the basics & beyond – From setting up your workspace, mixing color and value, to creating your very own masterpiece. The theme of this course is “Trust the Process”, where we will explore each stage of oil painting together over three exciting weeks. What to Expect: Week 1: Set up your workspace with confidence – learn how to wire hang your painting panel, create and underdrawing, and mix your first colors. Week 2: Build your skills by applying an underpainting using the colors mixed in Week 1. We will dive deeper into mixing color and explore mixing values. Week 3: Combine the skills we’ve established to complete your very own masterpiece! Come ready to create, learn, and trust the process! PAYMENT Full Amount - $180/person (cash only) due on class day.
